In one more day Splendid will be perched in “no-name” harbor waiting for a weather window to cross ovewr to the Bahamas. It dosent look like we will see a good window until early next week, maybe the weekend. We cant have any wind with a northern component
We had a nice day with friends yesterday and visited peanut island in Lake Worth. Guin played with her cruising friends and we had a nice steak aboard “Lilly-May” with our friends Terry and Michelle.
Tonight we will be anchored in Lake Sylvia in Fort Lauderdale. We may spend the day tomorrow, there isint really a rush to get any farther south.
I can almost taste the fresh fish and conch salad. Not to mention feel the warm sand and water beneath my feet.
Life is good aboard Splendid.
Cheers.

We enjoyed having you guys aboard, even if all the liquor is now gone! ;)
Our new engine arrived today, we should have it fully installed by the middle of next week so we shouldn’t be far behind.
