Wow…, have we been busy the last week. Splendid is provisioned. I have extra belts, hoses, oil, and filters. The cruising kitty is pretty slim but we have enough food to last us 5-6 months.
We are off to Lauderdale / Miami this morning. By mid week we will be looking for a window to cross to Cat cay. From Cat we will go to Chubb, Nassau and the Exumas. Florida is far to cold for me. It’s 50 degrees in the cabin, this is for the birds, and not the kind of birds I can relate to (Parrots & Tucans).
Does any one know the one thing I forgot to buy? It’s the one thing that will keep us held up somewhere waiting for a part. I wish I knew what it was.
Anyway, time to make breakfast for the girls. I’ll have the spot running as we travel.
Cheers.
Sail far and live slowly.

Wonderful news
Flour tortillas are a nice alternative to baking loaves of bread. No oven required. And you can wrap them around anything. Very nice with scrambled egg, etc.
English Muffins also cook on the stove top.
Remember to turn your eggs….
