Well Guin really wanted to color in her room so Sam, Guin, and I went to Home Depot to choose a color. I think it came out a pretty nice blue. Sam spent a few days prepping and painting, so she should get all the glory. It’s funny, we have had a few discussions about color. I want the interior tan and classic, but she is determined to put some color in my life and make it more of a home, it’s good :)
I got the rebuilt motor for the windlass yesterday and will be installing it ASAP. I’m waiting for my SSB to come back from the shop, it had a defective mic.I also need to swap out my alternator as it is not putting out much power. I have a nice 130amp Electromaax in a box, but I’m saving it for the small Generator (4.5 HP Kubota). I don’t think I’ll keep the new generator as a generator. I want to put on the 130amp alternator, and the clutch/compressor for my refrigeration system. I don’t really need 110 on the boat, and I have a good inverter. I’d like to have a small Honda 2000eu as a backup in a lazerette. It would also be good for beach parties.
I’m really getting excited about taking off with the girls. I have all the Coast Guard recommended safety equipment up to date as well as a very cool Viking life raft. I’ve never had one before but it really is a nice piece of mind. If you want to watch a video on how it works, click on their logo on the upper left.
Sam should have her own log up in a few days so you don’t just need to read my dribble.
Well I’m off to do projects and get to gett’n things done.

Sam is right some color is great. The Manson looks great will have to save up to get me one. Sounds like the projects are getting done.
If you have no more use for the Yamaha generator you can drop it off on the way up the east coast, won’t be in your way. Keep up with the updates.

I have some advice on a weapon. Not whether you need one, or not. Just a good one if you chose to. Several makers produce shotgun rifle combos. I think the ideal gun would be a .410/.22 combination. A .410 slug is the same diameter as a .45 cal. and the .22 is great for hunting a variety of small game. Hope that is some help.

Just getting ready topush off with you guys and just wondering what my digs are going to be like. I’ve waiting since last year to set sail with you, and if it’s only thru this web site, well so be it. I’m pumped.
