Wahoo, got my computer fixed, I’m back online :)
All is going well. We should be starting the new dodger and bimini on Saturday. Our friend Kerry has been finishing up a few big jobs and we should knock it out quickly.
Today I’m going to rig my windvane. I need to get a few blocks and guide 2 lines from the stern of the boat to the wheel. I’m really excited about having a windvane. I hate watching the batteries as I’m traveling with the autopilot. At some point I’m going to want to hook up a small tiller pilot to the windvane for conservative amp draw.
Sam is excited about our trip North and I’m going to be able to see my sister in Georgia, and cousin in the Chesapeake.
I’ll also get a new video up in the next few days.
A friend of mine is doing a walk for brest cancer and is trying to raise some money. If your interested please visit her page by clicking here.
I really appreciate all the support in the logs, it really means a lot.
Cheers,
Sail far and live slowly.

No, thank you. You’re helping (at least me) to keep the dream alive.
Must also agree Thank YOU!
I am so happy for you Alex. I have read every word you have written. I do not know if you might remember me, but I am the guy who offered to help write your web site once. You never came up with anything for me to do. I want you to know that you inspired me to live my dream too. My last day of work is July 2nd. I live in Dallas now, and I am following the coast by car looking for a boat of my own along with my wife, mother and father. If we do not find a boat until we get to Miami that is where we will base our search out of Miami.
My blog site is http://www.sailblogs.com/member/noplans/
Keep the logs coming!!! We are also getting ready to live our dream.
