Still working

Words are hard to come by as my mind is a bit mushy. An opportunity to stay and work for an additional 3 weeks came up, but I passed. I miss home and my girls so much I cant see straight. I’m slated to come back on the 5th but people are saying they are going to let some of us go early. I know I’m going to regret passing on the work as soon as I start thinking about all the things I want for Splendid, but I cant think at the moment, so that’s cool. The good news is I feel confident that this company will call me for work in the future. I feel that I’m doing a good job, not to mention the fact that I’m learning a lot.

Cheers everyone. I’ll post some pictures when I get back

  1. Alex, you should be proud of yourself, for doing whatever it takes to continue your dream. Also glad to hear that your mind as not turn to the ho green back, (THE DOLLAR). Yes, family and freinds understand when you stay it’s time to come home. It seems that your life has allowed you to beging feeling again, At the first of all this dream it started because of a broken engagement. Man you’ve came a long ways sences those days. It’s good that a little hard work brings life into focus. “Focus” is the most powerfull word you can use when trying to finish a task or even reach a dream. Two of the most well-known businessmen in the world were at a meeting together, The speaker asked all the people to come up with one word that made them a success. Only two men wrote the same word, “Warren Buffet & Bill Gates”, that word was “FOCUS”. ALex when you get back to SPlendid and your newly family of girls, set down and get focus on the things that will allow Splendid to full fill your dreams, You’ve already reached many of those, but your not finished yet. We the people, your followers have been with you from the beging and if I may speak for us, “The Followers” we are ready to set sail and start dream along beside into the unknown.
So, Alex we look forward to the new pictures, videos and logs from our captain Alex, THE MAN…

Darrin thanks for watching Alex’s back, to feels great when you don’t have to do something a lone. Your as much a part of this dream as anyone, Thanks again for all the work done and going to do on Splendid, but don’t forget your dreams as well. Your sail boat must be safe as well, and it must give you a sence of home.I look forward to your new part of Projectbluesphere, and may your logs being soon. Take care and we the followers wish you a safe trip home.

  2. Alex you might want to take the work while you can and it is available. I’m doing some longer runs now building the kitty up while I can. Things are changing so fast so many people are getting laid off. My Stepson just got laid off by Hess Oil. He was with them 20 years, they are hireing outside contractors to take his place. I was with Jevic 17.5 years and they closed the doors. Get a phone card and call the girls every day like I do. The Girls will be waiting with arms open when you get home and the money will sure be good. Best of luck in any choice you will make. We fans check daily to see how you are doing. Good luck God Speed

Alex. i know it is so hard being away from love ones but it would sure make things easier to have a little more cash for your adventure south. Sure it means missing them longer but in the long run if you could stick it out it would help with things for splended. What ever you decide make sure you dont get caught up in the every day grinde. You might end up like the rest of us. Living our dream thru you. hahahaha .

Everyday I start in my home/office by reading my email first and coming to this site next. I’ve been here loyally since I read the first article in Latts and Atts. I have to say that this is the first morning, that after coming to your site, that I actually wanted to get to work.

Alex, can’t wait to see you back on your home with the gals.

    Peace,

    Oklahoma Jeff
