Wahooo! Wait till you guys see the new website, it's really going to be awesome!
David took off on Sunday and I've been working around the clock getting another version of the DVD to the replicator in California. I'm hoping to get a hard drive shipped tomorrow. This has really been the project from hell. I shot this film with the idea of releasing it on bluray but nobody has it yet. Down sizing the project to standard definition has been a technical nightmare but I think I have it licked now.
I'm going to mount my windvane and sea trial the autopilot this week. I'm also hoping my things will arrive from Australia this week. If they do, I'm thinking really hard about taking off for Colombia, Panama, or the Rio Dulce in Guatemala for hurricane season which starts in a few days. The biggest problem I see with leaving the country is I know I'll be kicking myself in the ass for not buying certain things (paint, primer, etc) before I go. Finding stuff in small countries can often be like a treasure hunt. You have to have fun with it otherwise you'll kill yourself.
Sail free everyone!
