My buddy David (my web guru), and computer geek extraordinaire is here from Texas for a few days. We are building the new projectbluesphere.com website. It really will be ultra sharp, we will launch in a month or so. Stay tuned for lots of surprises!
On the DVD forefront I'm about to jump off a bridge. I got a check disk from the replicator and the picture was really jerks during quick pans and fast zooms. I never should have shot it in HDV format. The conversion process is a bloody technical nightmare, however I think we are at the bottom of it. The down side is I have to output the film again with different settings and reship it to the replicator in Burbank. ARRRGGGG! It's not their fault, I'm just really frustrated and didn't want to burn 1000 copies with a jerky image. “Sorry” to everyone who is waiting so long to see it. All I can say is it will be worth the wait.
The autopilot is installed!!!! I may send the course computer to Raymarine to have a technician go through it and give it a blessing. I think I may have a blown FET, if so it's an easy thing to fix. I haven't taken it for a sea trial but I think the course computer is drifting.
Next week is a big week. I should have the autopilot and windvane projects finished. I need to fix one of my engine alarms (pressure) but aside from that I'll be mobile. For some reason the oil pressure alarm is going off at lo RPMs even though the pressure gauge shows full oil pressure. I think its a faulty sender?
My things should be arriving from Australia next week. If I can get all my SHIP together I may just beet feet for Panama or the Rio Dulce in Guatamala.
Who knows, time will tell.
Peace, Love and Computers.
