Time on a boat is slow. Yachties often forget the date, often the month, and not many of us wear watches as a matter of principle. Machiko and I got up early to make her noon flight and over coffee realized she doesn’t leave until tomorrow. We were both happy with the appearance of an extra day. We never got a chance to rent a car so we will try again today. Yesterday was a rainy, stay in the boat and watch movies kind of day.
About 5 more boats arrived in the anchorage yesterday, it’s getting tight again.
Someone sent me a really beautiful instant message this morning which I want to share:
“Life is short. Break the rules.
Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly.
Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile”.
Not a bad philosophy.
Thanks Amy.
Peace, Love, and
Alex
