Sorry for the lapse in logs, I’ve been preoccupied. Machico and I have been having a blast. We’ve also just been kicking back. She works long hours back home and needed a rest as much as I did after the crossing.

Machi goes back to Tokyo on Friday and my other guest arrives on the 12th. I need to go into handyman mode ASAP. I have to fix the head, running lights, stove, scrape the bottom, change the racor filter, change the oil, and fill up the water and diesel tanks.

I just met another single hander, Dan on “Sand Dollar”. He had a good supply of fresh Dorado as he just arrived after his crossing. I’m going to have Aki, Massa, and Phillip over for dinner.

Tomorrow I’m going to try and secure a rental car in the morning and tour the island.

We just got back from our daily run to town for fresh bread. I need to get to cooking as I’m to have guests shortly.

I’m sending Machi back with a CD of pictures to upload to the site, they should be up in about a week.

Has anyone ever eaten “dragon fruit” before I had it for the first time today? It’s red, covered with spikes and has a really nice flavor.
