Land and Sea

Rainy morning.

Machico arrived on schedule.

I was told that the hike to the airport was 3 hours and not to expect a ride. Coming back would not be a problem as many people would be driving back to Aunota. I left 4 hours before she arrived. I immediately got a ride and found myself at an empty airport with 3 hours to spare. As I am Alex Dorsey I always have a contingency plan and had a thick book in my backpack. I read for a few hours and took a nap. We got a ride in the back of a pick-up on the way back with no problem

Aki had gone to town that day and bought a lot of fresh tuna.

Last night we had a grand feast of Sashimi and Sushi on liberty. Machico brought me a nice bottle of saki which we all shared last night.

Today we are planning on hiking/hitching to the other side of the island. We will be hunting for bananas, mango, grape fruit, papya, and breadfruit.

Machico says she is having a good time.

Peace from paradise.
