It all came full circle last night.
The first sunset I’ve seen in a while appeared last night, and what a doozy it was. Namaste and I bathed in its pink light as the sea’s confusion subsided. The 8 foot waves spread apart until the motion was one of a mother rocking a newborn in a crib. The first real clear sky appeared for a few hours and the Southern Cross and full moon lit my evening. The wind continued at 12kts pushing my modest boat along swiftly.
If a spy satellite was taking video of me I would surely be dubbed mad as a hatter. Drinking Guinness, naked as a jay, and singing to the soundtrack of “O Brother where art thou” was the stage. My smile reached
Mad or not, it was a beautiful night to be at sea. I thought I would rise to a clear sky but the sea has other plans today. I have 100 percent overcast and 15kts from the SSE. I’d rather have the wind then sun so I’m happy with the situation, can’t have it all right?
I’m going to look through my library for a new victim after breakfast. My plan is to read the day away, perhaps take a nap, or struggle with the weather, who knows?
Cheers everyone.
Peace, love, and commitment.
Alex
