Sailing is getting a bit trickier. I have not worried so much about direction and leaned to the south. I am now at the same latitude as Hive Oa and need to keep a sharper eye. The wind is also slowly shifting more to the east and wakening to around 11kts. I spent a good amount of time today trimming sails.
I made a bit of a diesel mess trying to get the contents of my 15 gallon container into the tank. I also took a small mouthful of diesel siphoning it out of the container, YUCK!!! Now I’ll get cancer and die before I reach my destination, or maybe not.
I really left the UDC behind today, I got some amazing pictures of the large mass of weather I left behind me, very dramatic, cant wait to upload them.
It is quite comfortable on Namaste now. I’ve managed to clean up a bit and if the weather holds I am planning on sleeping outside tonight.
I’m getting excited, I feel that I’m on the final stretch, 1400 miles left of a 4000 mile trip, Wahoooo!
