Land and Sea

What a day!

I had a rough night, not because it was rough, but variable. The sails needed a lot of attention. I believe the Cyclone ahead of me is affecting the weather.

Today however, I live in a miraculous world of blue. The sea is bluer then the sky and the sky is as blue as I’ve ever seen it.

I will have a new look for my new world. I broke out the clippers today to trim up and shaved a stripe down the left side of my head. Now my hair is the same length as my trimmed beard and I love it, it feels really clean and cool.

I’m in the groove of the crossing and feel really good. I was really loosing it under the thumb of the cipro and gloomy skies and seas of the UDC, thank goodness that is behind me.

I really can’t wait to upload pictures from the crossing; this is such a beautiful experience.

Everything gets used harder at sea. I’m worried about my monitor, it’s blinking on and off and I hope it holds. It’s a very small computer monitor, the kind you get for your car; I don’t know where I will find another one. I’m also hoping that this log gets out. My sat phone is on its tippy-toe of its last leg. Ahhhh, the joys of technology!

Cheers everyone.
