Sorry about the Nobeltec chart table. We will be taking it down and just going with google maps for now, it should be fixed next week.

Namaste is putting along through glassy seas; there is not a breath of wind to be found. I’m not very happy using the motor but the old girl seems okay for now. It does have a funny vibration, not too bad though. I don’t know that I can motor all the way to the Galapagos for fuel. If I get a few days of usable breeze I could do it. Otherwise I might pull into a port in Ecuador if I really need fuel. Everyone told me there would be no wind until after the Galapagos. I thought I would have the nerves to drift but I don’t think I do. Motoring is not nearly as enjoyable as sailing. If I just had 6, or 7 knots.

Can everyone do me a favor besides praying for wind? I’m trying to increase my readership. Can you send an email to your friends that you think might enjoy following me as I cross the Pacific, turn them on to projectbluesphere.com?

That’s it for now.

Peace, Love and wind please!
