Why am I doing this?

The first few days at sea will be the hardest.

I left the anchorage with first light and had a lovely light air day. I had the drifter up and was making about at 5 knots.

About 16:00 the wind picked up to 18 and I have a nasty swell on the starboard beam. I can’t wait to get to good deep water with a consistent ocean swell.

I’m not able to write much now as I don’t have my sea legs and I’m having an uncomfortable ride around punta Mala.
