I cut my foot open when I was helping my friend Aki take apart his roller furling. It’s slowing me down a bit but I’m still hobbling about. It’s in a bad place on the bottom of my foot and it’s having a hard time healing and staying clean, tropical climates you know.
I had to put off my motor project until tomorrow. I had to get some paper work done between the American & French consulates. I HATE PAPERWORK!!!!!
I got back the mounting hardware for the clubfoot this morning. I’m raising the clubfoot 10.5 inches so it can clear the new windlass which is coming soon. I’ll knock that project out later this afternoon.

I’m going to toss the whole pressure water concept and put in a good foot pump which I have stored in the bilge. I’ll have to pick up another one for the head, but for now I’ll just have water in the galley.
I have a few extra hundred feet of chain that won’t fit my gypsy so I’m giving it to some young Canadian sailors that have much less then I do, they seem pretty psyched.

The presale button for the next DVD “The Art of Cruising” is up. If you want to order your copy early that would be cool, it will ship in 8 weeks or so.
My Next DVD “Crossing the Pacific” will not be that far behind, about a year. I’m planning on releasing it around New Year of 2008.
Peace, Love, and Coconuts.
