Land and Sea

Back in Espirito Santo (Holy Ghost)!

Buddy took off today. We left Isla Ampon early this morning. We had a pretty nasty squall yesterday. It blew a bit over 40, but for an hour and a half. The wind waves got nasty and we rocked for a few hours after the squall passed. It was worse in Contadora. I saw 2 large boats up on the rocks today. One was over 100 feet and spilled oil all over the beach, ARG!!! I really wanted to see the internet as well, but the internet and power are out on the island, Oh well!

I had a really good time with Buddy. We spend a lot of time with my friends on Contigo, and Plan B. Yesterday we checked out a nurse shark breeding ground, and a local village, Buddy bought a small pearl.

I need to focus on work for a week and decided to return to Espirito Santo. It’s very protected here. My friend David is flying into Contadora next Saturday. He will be here for a week. This week I need to knock out an article and two segments for L&A TV.

It’s hard for me to write a lot of logs while I have company, I’m kind of distracted, sorry, I will post more this week.

My hands are healing well; I need to get some good dive gloves.

Cheers everyone.

Peace, Love, and Coconuts.
