Land and Sea

Today was a good day.

I listened to music all day and cleaned the boat.

I went spear fishing a few hours ago and found my favorite spot in Espirito Santos. When I was hunting around the reef I was joined by a Black Tip. He made me a bit nervous because he was on the larger side but we hunted the reef together. I shot a nice little snapper for dinner; I don’t know what he got. I left pretty quickly after my prize.

My buddy Don saw a crocodile here a few months ago. Sharks don’t bother me so much, but crocodiles are a different story. They don’t attack when they are hungry, they attack when they see prey, and a 4 foot croc will attack a 6 foot man.

My friend David is bringing me a new spear gun next Saturday. As soon as I can I am going to buy a .38 caliber power head (Bang Stick) for my spear gun. Sharks do not usually bother people, but the people who usually get bit are spear fisherman. I need some time on the internet to find one. Sometimes you can find them on Ebay, but I always miss the bid. If I need to I want to be able to put a bullet in whatever attacks me. I will probably never need it, but I think it is better to have one and not need it, then need it and not have one, know what I mean?

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.

Peace, Love, and Sharks.

Alex
