Land and Sea

Got a phone today

I tried to take the oil out of my motor this morning, and the pump wouldn’t handle it. There seems to be a gelatinous sludge in it, what the hell is that all about?

I’m waiting to hear back from Volvo, fingers crossed. I bought a phone today; if anyone wants to chat my incoming calls are free. My number is 507 6-665-4159.

I had to turn off my fridge as I can’t really charge, but between the solar panels, and my wind generator, I seem to be doing okay.

I need to go to Immigration and the Port Captain today and check back in. I’m also going to visit the American Embassy and see if there is a chance I could work here. If I have to go back to the States and work I would leave Namaste at the Balboa Yacht Club.

I was reading some cruising guides Last night. If I miss my window to cross the Pacific, and it’s looking that way, I will fix the motor and explore Ecuador, Peru, and Chili. Not many people explore Peru, and Chile, it might be cool. It would also change my route west next season to include Easter Island.

Where will the winds take me?

If you want to watch one of my old on-line videos that includes the last time I rebuilt my motor, enjoy.

Episode #9

Peace everyone.
