Click to view full size imageThere are days, then there are days. There was the man who had the “golden gun”, Jerry Luis was the King of comedy, and Howard Stern is the king of all media. Obama is the president of the United States, and there are plenty of guys with more than enough money and power, but Alex Dorsey is the most fortunate man in the world. Really…, how is it I get everything I want, my life is a friggin’ great movie!

We had a great day sailing down the ICW to St. Augustine. We played Uno and charades in the cockpit watching birds, kissing, hugging and loving the world around us. Dolphins played at the bow and good music played on the radio.

Let the rain and wind come, nothing can touch me, all i hope for is health for the people closest to me.

I took some really cute pictures of Guin. My favorite is her mean face with the Latitudes & Attitudes tattoo.

Marty, the chicken tortelinni was a hit tonight.

Peace, Love, and Love, Love, Love.

Sail far and live slowly.

Alex, just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, you notice that under the sette on the port side, between the batteries, is a popcorn popper and THEN you notice that above the stove, there is popcorn and oil! Hopefully butter is in the refrigerator, but at least there is salt in the stash above the stove! Old fashioned popcorn with oil and butter – truly character building stuff. And to top it off, Guin will LOVE watching the popper at work! (Joanne, Marty’s wife).

  2. You are truly a blessed man.

  4. If you’re gonna be in St. Auggie a day or two I’d be glad to take you and the gals out to lunch or dinner. A good brewery is just across the street from the City Marina. Work has got me tied down during the day, but I’ll track you on Spot, and if still here might come down to the bayfront at lunch and snap another pic of Splendid. If you see a nut with a camera waving at you from the shore around here it’s probably me.

  5. Joanne,

Popcorn sounds great :) We’ll do that tonight. We watched the mermaid movie the other night, it was a really, REALLY girly movie but Guin liked it. I hope you guys will enjoy having Fasaga in the warm.

    Jim,
We will keep an eye out for it, thanks.

Fletch, we are off early It’s 5:45 am, ICK! but thnks for the invite. Maybe when we are back in Jax. I’ll be driving back down here to visit sailors exchange.

  6. Well now… There you go. Having the time of your life and enjoying every precious moment. Give the family a hug and I’ve got a link to some photos of Trillium that I’ll drop in an email today. She’s got a full workshop and the guy was a major exec with Snap On in another life, so he’s leaving all the tools too. I’m getting more jazzed.

Later Amigo and have a ball. What an understatement…

  11. Hey Alex,

How is the trip going? At least it should be more your climate down there in Fla. If you can post a picture of your shark tattoo, I was telling a friend about it and wanted to show them a picture. Hope you guys are having fun and the sun is shining for you.

  12. Hi guys.

We had a “exhaust elbow” issue and Sam and I are stuck in a marina for the weekend. I need to order a Yanmar part Monday morning and have it overnighted.

All is well, Guin went off with her Dad (She was sooo excited) for a week and Sam and I are playing boyfriend/girlfriend. It’s so strange not having the munchkin around.

    Cheers.
