good wind and big anchors

hey all- sam here. I’m writing in lieu of alex as he is en route and connectionless. Alex would like to point out that he has dusted off the old spot so you can track splendid as she makes the now somewhat familiar journey back to the fort. Last we chatted he had successfully traversed the shallows and is now footloose and fancy free in the open water, full sail but motoring still as he wants to finally burn through the old black fuel.

And speaking of anchors.. Arriving back to the house yesterday was a bit like xmas. No sooner had i unbuckled guinna from her carseat, she was bounding across the yard shouting “Our new anchor is here, our new anchor is here”. I turned to look and there, sitting on my stoop , was a most epic anchor. An 80 lb manson supreme, definitely formidable and certainly not messing around. I think alex might finally have the peace of mind he’s been searching for in ground tackle. Also on the stoop was a care package containing homebrewed beer, some delicious looking wine, scrumptious golden amber sweet yummy hometapped maple syrup and even a jar of pickled dilly beans (thank you dean!)

I am ordering the canvas today and work should begin at the start of the week.. look forward to some new bluesphere video..
