Land and Sea

fordeck

Man have I been busting my ass. My fingers are raw from wet sanding but the bow is almost done! Darrin is glassing down the port side of the cabin house and I’m faring, priming, and painting.

I’m also starting to install the windlass which came earlier today. Things are really coming together.

Anyway, I’ll have another video uploaded soon.

Peace everyone.

hey alex are u all going to the miami boat show

  2. I’d like to go to the show? It is just a matter of time, expense, and weather. I’m on the hook so if a cold front will be going through I’d opt out.

We may be pushing off a bit earlier than originally anticipated due to sheety economy…it would be really great if we actually met-up this time in the South Pacific.

If I recall you last passage to Marquesas, we talked almost everyday via satellite text messaging. I believe you were busy doing some mental house keeping which was interesting. I’m just guessing you’ll be making the crossing again???

    Cheers,

  4. Alex SAM I AM I may be going to Miami show ..will meet up with Jim . could pick you up on the way

  5. Ken,

Thats great that your shoving off early. I am planning on crossing again. I want to spend some time in Panama again, and when I do cross I’ll be going a bit north of the “Coconut Milk Run” I want to spend a few years crossing and I’ll spend cyclone seasons in Kiribati, the Marshall islands, and maybe visit Hawaii.

    Sam,

that may be an option. I’ll probably drive with Sam and Guin tho as I’ll want to visit friends in Stuart.

    Cheers.

    Alex
