Land and Sea

On the hook!

It’s soooo easy to get caught up in society and relying on things that I don’t really need. Why did I stay in the slip so long?I don’t know if you remember but I was really bumming going to the marina. I left on the 4th and I’m back on the hook again, it’s so nice! Sam and Guin are enjoying it as well. Guin likes all the dinghy rides, and Sam is becoming a pro at running the inflatable.

I met a nice guy who just got a boat and is going cruising. He bought his boat up at the “Glades” where I found Splendid at the beginning of the year. He came over the other day and we started chatting. He is a fiberglass guy who needs a new dinghy. The funny thing is I have an extra dinghy and I need some fiberglass work. We are going to glass up all the wood on the super-structure. I was just going to paint over it, but the short of it is I’ll be chasing cracks down for the rest of my life, and glassing it up is really the way to go. We are going to start this week. The weather is cool and dry and the perfect time for this kind of work and painting.

There is a big boat show here in Fort Myers next week, it should be fun. I’m hoping I can sell some DVD’s.

Peace everyone.
