Bermuda!!!

Buddy and I arrived in Bermuda around noon. After clearing in we dropped the hook and went to have a great cheeseburger lunch (2 burgers and 2 beers $50.00) Outch!!!

I ran into an old friend from Colombia/Panama here. The first boat In sight was a beautiful Bristol Channel Cutter and I immediately said “I know that boat, John on Trinka”. I stopped by to see my old friend and hope to see spend some time with him before he takes off for New England in a few days.

I have another friend arriving on a boat that is in the Newport to Bermuda race. He should arrive on Tuesday.

I’m going to turn over every rock here to find another crew member to do the last leg of the trip with us. 4 hours on, and 4 hours off is a tough schedule to keep without the autopilot. I’ll never deliver a boat without one again. If we can find an additional crew member we will be looking at 4 hours on and 8 off, much better.

Anyway, I’m cross eyed tired. The funny thing is I cant seem to sleep. My schedule is all messed up.

All I can dream about is getting Splendid cruising again.

What a beautiful place this is.

Peace, Love and Bermuda.

Sail far and live slowly.
