I'm being reeled into the matrix once again. The only difference is I feel in control this time. I'm leaving Fort Myers on Tuesday to help my friend step his mast on Wed/Thursday. I'm planning on flying to San Juan PuertoRico on Friday and catching a jumper to Tortola. I'll provision for a few days and bolt 1,600 miles for Connecticut. I'm getting a good rate to deliver this boat and it's a Swan, my favorite ;)
It looks like I'll be taking another job as soon as I make landfall. There is a Hans Christian that needs to go back home to England, sounds fun!!!
Man, I've already sailed 9000 miles in the last year, whats another ocean right?
Well that's the current plan. I'll be leaving splendid tied up in a slip. The good part of all this is I'll have the money to put her together properly.
I'll have my laptop and sat phone and will be bringing you all along with me.
It will be a cool thing to cross the 2 largest oceans in the world in a year, well… just a bit more then a year.
