Crack baby

I got back to my beautiful Splendid last night. Our trip on “Larissa” (31′ Cape Dory) ended about 6pm yesterday. I’ve never sailed a Cape Dory before but I’m a big fan now, what a wonderful boat! Eric (The owner) took us out to dinner at Joe’s crab Shack last night. The guys went out for a few drinks after dinner but I declined because I’m really focused to get out of here.

I got up this morning and did a funny thing. I plugged in my marine AC and turned into a crack baby. I’m not selling the AC just yet! It’s a like a crack machine, I never want to leave the dock! Well…, maybe that’s an over statement. I’m thinking I’ll get a lot more work done with it going, it’s just so damn hot! Today I’m focusing on cleaning up and organizing my environment. Monday I’m going to get the pipes for the windvane bent and hopefully mounted. The next project is mounting the drive for my autopilot. I’m glad I thought about it for a few weeks. I think I’m going to mount it on its side and build a vertical mount.

I’ll work on a video of my sailing trip with Eric & Josh. I’m hoping to post it in a few days.

Peace, Love and Air-Conditioning!
