The guy (Jason) who found splendid for me drove down from Minneapolis to give me a hand fixing things for a few days. He’s an electronic repair tech and has been knocking out some electrical issues for me.

My generator has not been working well as the choke needs to be all the way on. Yesterday the 3 of us pulled the carburetor apart, cleaned it, and put it all back together. It didn’t fix the problem and still seems like its getting too much air. It could be a head gasket but I need to dig into it further. It runs well, it just needs a fair amount of choke. We just cant figure out where the leek is from.

I’m bidding on a few autopilots and I’m buying an off shore Avon 4 man life raft. It needs to be repacked but I’ll do it when I can afford it. I’m still searching for an outboard, anchor, and a few other things.

I’m really hoping to get the autopilot thing dealt with soon. The autopilot is what’s really holding me in one spot, I’d like to at least be down in the keys where I cold do some swimming.

The final details on the DVD are making me crazy. I’m dealing with some tech issues with the place in California, and I’m hoping to find a fix this week.

Cheers everyone.

Peace, Love, and boat projects.
