Splendid is floating for the first time in 5 years, The motor is running well but the generator is seized, ARG!!

Chuck really helped get me into the water, thanks bro. I’ve also made some good new friends. Scott has a fuel polishing business and had really helped out. I’ve also made friends with my neighbor Josh who has just bought his first sailboat. He is looking for someone to sail to St. Thomas with him. He will buy a return ticket for someone who can teach him to sail along the way. If anyone is interested his email address is madmonkjpc@hotmail.com.

I’m so happy to be out of the yard and floating again. I’m sorry for the lack of updated but I’ve really been trapped in the middle of a cow pasture with sailboats and no internet.

I really need to find an autopilot, stereo system, and portable gas generator. If anyone has anything they want to sell cheap let me know.

Splendid is structurally sound now. She is in dyer need of cosmetics but the hull, rig, and motor are sound. Now it’s time to sand, paint, plum, and clean.
