What a work day!!!
I went to the yard with my buddy Chuck today after spending about a grand on supplies (epoxy, sandpaper, glass, etc) and 4, T-105 6v batteries and a starting battery, what a work day.
We didn’t get to the yard till around noon but knocked out a solid work day, I’m fried. We pulled off the prop & shaft along with the cutless bearing. I also ground out some blisters. The cutlass bearing was a real _itch to get out!!!
If we really bust ass through the week I’m hoping to launch mid next week, there is so much work to be done its overwhelming. All my cleaning over the past week seems worthless as the boat is full of tools and supplies. Tomorrow’s agenda consists of putting in a new cutlass bearing, taking the shaft to the shop, and glassing up the blisters. I’ll paint in the next few days and get the motor online.
I’m somewhere between terrified and excited, with a dash of determined.
I wish I could be a bit more cognitive but my eyes are heavy and my brain slow.
I don’t know if I could pull this off without Chuck’s help, thanks bud.
Cheers everyone.
Peace, Love, and good night.
Alex
