Hang’n out!!!

A lot cruisers got together and analyzed all the weather products yesterday. We decided that whoever drew the 95Kt wind barb on the surface analysis had to be on crack. It?s windy but nothing like that. I?m still looking at 10 ? 12? seas over the next few days. I need to get a couple good days to get into the groove of the sea. If I get slammed right out of the gate I don?t hold up well, I need that ?accumulation period?, but after that it?s cool.

It was blowing a near gale in the anchorage yesterday and a few boats started walking around looking to slam into something. There was a guy alone on a 50? boat that needed a hand and my buddy Ben and I rowed out to him and gave him a hand before he hit a French Ketch. We got his anchor up and moved him to a safe spot. He bought beers later and we made another friend.

Today I?m cleaning up and attending to a diesel leek. I think I found it. It?s coming off the hose that goes to my diesel heater. I should have it dealt with in an hour or so. You know what they say ?Cruising is fixing your boat in exotic locations?, it?s true. It?s so cool to sit in the cockpit and look at Bora Bora, I?ve decided that I?m somewhere!

I?m going to shore to take some pictures today.

Peace, love, and Bora Bora baby!!!!
