Laurent had many questions about boats and invited me to help him raise the sunken boat in the pass. It is a French “Toy” (thin fiberglass) boat about 42’ long. The boat is just under the surface and by getting a big water pump, plugging up all the holes, and un-bolting the keel it would be a relatively easy thing to do. The problem is I don’t have the time. I have a friend coming into
Once I arrive in Tonga/Fiji I have some decisions to make. The trip South takes me into the southern ocean and can be a rough ride, gales frequent from the west. If I decide to spend the cyclone season in the Solomon/Papua New Guinea area I have malaria to deal with. I guess I will not know until I get there?
I may take off today.
Peace, Love, and Black Pearls.
