Today I woke to another grey day, the good news it’s not the UDC, the ceiling is high and I can still see patches of blue to the south. The wind is blowing 15 – 18 from the SSE.
Last night I wanted to make nice pasta in celebration of escaping the UDC. I had the pasta on the burner boiling away when a large wave sloshed the boiling water down my left leg; thank goodness it missed my mid-section. Man what I would have done for some ice or something cold. I turned the fridge off a week ago with the absence of the sun and solar power. My leg is pretty red and still burns. I’m happy to be off the Cipro.
I’m deep in my Clive Cussler book “Serpent”, it is good entertainment.
I’ve got the line out for the first time in a while and I’m hoping for fresh fish tonight. Maybe I’ll even have a warm beer now that I’m off the antibiotics.
