I’ve made 135 miles in the last 24hrs!

I was lying in bed after I sent in my log this morning and went back to my solar cabin. After a few minutes it seemed like a weird Laura ingles Wilder/Little house on the prairie nightmare. I crashed my F150 into the front doors of my solar cabin, let my dogs free, and torched the place. As I watched the place burn I clicked my heels, home again!

I’m back! I need to get my ship together!

I got up, tweaked my sails, and have been making 6 – 6.5 kts all day.

I’ll build the cabin later and die in it, but for now I’m sailing across the Pacific.

If I do too much I get exhausted quickly. It was really stupid of me to go out and drink and smoke a pack of cigarettes the way I did, I made my bed, and I’m laying in it. It’s not the first time I did something stupid.

If I keep up this pace I could make Hiva Oa in 20 days or so.

I’m still on the cipro even though I got a slew of Instant messages warning me about it. My body seems to be adjusting to it and I’m not wiggn’ so badly.

Today was a perfect sailing day. 13-15, and blue sky.

Cheers.
