Project BlueSphere

Land and Sea

New Pictures!

Lately, we have been trying to think of more creative ways to save money. Yesterday, some spare change in the catch all calabash (a gourd-like bowl) was used to buy dinner. Our grocery list consisted of chicken, beer, ice cream, milk, and eggs. As I made little stacks of change in the sweltering afternoon heat, Alex became a little impatient and the cashiers were less than thrilled. But, come on! What better way to cash in your crusty, salty, sandy, mixture of Panamanian (Balboas) and American jingle?

I just got back from a little jog around the Island of Contadora. Well, the island ain’t that little. I am used to running 10k 4 or 5 times a week on a bike trail back in Balboa Yacht Club. So you’d think I’d be an in shape gal, right? WRONG! All you have to do is throw some hills and dirt roads in the mix and I am a total wuss. It’s going to take more than one beer to cool down after this run.

Some new additions to the site: We have posted pictures of Costa Rica, Espirito Santo, and the careening process. You can write me at Cassandra (at) projectbluesphere.com. (in sneaky code to hide from spam scanners) and…Coming Soon! You will be able to reserve your copy of the 2nd DVD in the Project Bluesphere series.

Alex has asked that if you are writing him, please put bluesphere in the subject line. He has had an influx of spam lately and is afraid he may have deleted some of your e-mails.

Cheers to spare change and flat paths!

Cass
