Dan’s Log

I had asked Dan to write a log explaining his experience here on Namaste, he wrote the following. He did in fact help with the dishes though.**********Regrettably I have left Alex and Namaste.  I had a Fantastic week.  It was good toget away, relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet that the ocean has to offer. Alex is a great host and a good cook.  The daily activities consisted of fishing, swimming, cleaning fish, islandexploring, and reading.  Alex did all of the cooking and dish washing.  That wasnice! There was adventure as well.  We experienced the indirect lightning strike, two tropical waves, one day of torrential rain that lasted for at least 4 hours, andanother day of clouds and off again/on again rain as we motored to Panama.  Althoughwith all the rain Alex was able to top off his fresh water tank.  Rain water reallytastes great.  Reminded me back of my childhood days when I use to play in the rain, and catch the raindrops in my mouth.I met some great people (other cruisers) during my week with Alex.  Getting thechance to learn from them of their adventures is knowledge I will cherish. EveryoneI met was friendly, kind, open and warm.  Truly like a great big family.  Awonderful experience!I hope to become part of the cruiser “Family”, although it will be about 4 yearsfrom now.  I am starting to map out my timeline, and then plan on taking action.  Sofor all you cruisers out there know, hope to see you in a few years.  Just look fora “BLANK” boat.  For anyone thinking about becoming a cruiser, you need toexperience it!Thank You Alex for a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, and knowledge.  I willalways remember our time together.Peace, Love & Coconuts!Dan Blank**********I was just looking at my schedule, and I’d like to fit one more in before I head to Ecuador in October. I have time the first week in September, the Last week of September, and the first 2 weeks of October. If anyone is interested let me knowHope everyone is well.Alex
