I heard an interesting line in a song, it’s had me preoccupied:
“Sheep go to heaven, goats go to hell”
Is that really true? I think I’m a goat!
Another line in the same song:
“As soon as you’re borne you start dying, so you might as well have a good time”
I think the band is “Cake”, I can’t figure it out from my MP3 list.
I know, I know, you think I have too much time on my hands. It’s nice to spend countless hours thinking about nothing and everything. It’s nice to actually listen to the lyrics in songs as opposed to letting them fill in the background noise in your head while one really think about something else like bills, dinner, which way to turn, or something important like that.
The rain has subsided, and it is a beautiful day for a change. I scrubbed the waterline of the hull this morning, and I’m doing some last minute cleaning. My Sister arrives in the morning.
I must have been sleeping quite soundly last night because when I woke up, the hatch was open and it was pouring rain on me. How long did I sleep through that, it must have been a few minutes because I was drenched? I remember dreaming that I was in the rain, so perhaps it didn’t seem important too wake up.
The boat is clean and smells nicer (Like Bleach), as opposed to a more normal boat smell. I also dumped a quart of bilge cleaner in a few days ago to freshen it up. Not that my boat is usually dirty, it just smells like a boat.
I’m going shopping in a few minutes to pick up extra food & stuff, I’m also going to pick up some things (fresh veggies & fruit) for my friends on “Contigo” (Happy birthday Maggy). We will meet them tomorrow night at Isla Ampon, probably for dinner and “Sun Downers” (Boat drinks).
Peace, Love, and Sunshine!
