A tropical wave blasted through last night and my anchor drug, very unusual for me, I got 40 feet from the rocks!
The wind was around 25-30 (not so bad) but the current set Namaste conflicting the wind, and the roll was horrible. I much would rather have been at sea so I could balance the boat into more favorable conditions.
The rain was blinding and I couldn’t see a thing.
Today I’m going to try and take a long nap, and recover from “the night from hell”.
If tonight is uncomfortable, I’ll probably sail for a really nice protected anchorage about 15 miles away tomorrow.
Cheers everyone.
Peace, love & coconuts.
