Back in the USA…, weird…, soooo different! Lots and lots of people, cars, restaurants, and lots of variety. The biggest thing that I’ve noticed in my reverse culture shock is communications. Everyone is on the phone and things are moving much faster. I don’t quite feel comfortable jetting around in cars everywhere, it feels unsafe, too fast. And I surely didn’t like being cramped in a plane for an entire day with lots of people. It’s great to see my family, and have an “always-on” internet connection. I like the new release section at block buster, lots of movies I haven’t seen, and I slept in a bed for the first time in 8 months, in air conditioning. It’s funny, coming back is almost as much as an adventure as when I left.
