Port Antonio

I’ve been spending a lot of time on the boat (Writing & editing). I’m very anxious, along with my friends on the Spanish and English boats. Waiting for weather can be very frustrating. I made a bit of a Booboo. I checked out of Jamaica last week thinking I was leaving the next day, spaced out, and never checked back in. The customs guy came across me in the office today and was very surprised. I really screwed up, and technically was an illegal alien for most of the last week. He was a bit upset as he should be, but was very kind in dealing with the situation. From my experience, anyone who says cruising in Jamaica is difficult with the authorities, has not been to Port Antonio.

I’m going to Navy Island today with the Spanish couple to do some snorkeling and spear fishing. We all need to find activities to keep our minds off the weather. When I stop thinking of the weather and look around its funny, Why should I be frustrated? The Port Antonio Yacht Club is the most beautiful facility I been at in the Caribbean, and spending some more time here is far from frustrating. I think we might all chip in for a car for a day, and explore the blue lagoon (from the movie), and Blue mountain (the best coffee in the world). We might venture to do a rafting trip as well.
