Nassau

Not much to report today, except these winds are really aggravating me! My trip through the Bahamas is getting shorter every day I spend here. The more time I spend here, the longer I have to spend off-shore beating farther south, missing everything, to get out of the hurricane belt. I spent most of the day editing, and visited an ashram (www.sivananda.org/nassau) on Paradise Island, it’s a beautiful and peaceful place. You can stay there for about $70.00 a night, food & activities (yoga) included. If I had some extra time I’d try and find some inner peace and meditate. I spent some time at an ashram when I was sixteen, it was a good experience, probably because I met a great girlfriend there and had a fun summer in Malibu. I didn’t really get into meditating much. Saturday looks like the day to leave, the hi-pressure should subside.
