Back in Panama

Hi Everyone,

I can’t believe it’s already the holidays. I have a great idea for a stocking stuffer. If you haven’t got a copy of the Project BlueSphere DVD click here to order your copies for Christmas. You can also watch the preview by clicking the Preview icon at www.projectbluesphere.com or you can launch the Preview directly at http://www.projectbluesphere.com/index.asp?mid=25. Please note that pop-up blockers may stop the preview from displaying using the last link. If it does, use the first link and click the Preview icon yourself.

All is well in Panama. I’m working on Namaste for my Pacific crossing. I have some solar panels arriving next week, and I’m updating my Tropikool refrigeration system. I’m also putting in a new battery bank (4 6v T-105’s), and beefing up my alternator. Once I leave Panama I won’t really have access to anything for the better part of a year. I’m also trying to build a fanless (heat-sync technology) 12 computer system for Namaste. My laptop is turning out to be unreliable.

I’m still doing some chartering if anyone is interested; drop me an instant message to the sat phone from the contact section of www.projectbluesphere.com. Speaking of satellite phones, I’ve got a few emails regarding my Iridium System. For more information on Satellite phones and email access at sea, please visit Sat Com Systems.

I’ve also started writing for Latitudes & Attitudes. My first article is coming out in the January issue. If you don’t get Latitudes & Attitudes you can click here for a subscription, or visit them online at www.latsandatts.net.

I know a lot of you are planning on going cruising. 2006 is just around the corner and it’s time to make some New Year resolutions. Remember, Life is short, seize the day!!

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me anytime.

Peace, Love and Coconuts.
