My Sister got in on friday with no problems. It’s funny how much she still looks like the last time I saw her when she was around 11.
We took off to Isla Ampon and met up with my friends on “Contigo”. Whe had drinks with them last night, came back to the boat and watched “Sin City” on my super cool new laptop. It has 2 power buttons, one for booting into windows, and one for booting into Media Direct. The computer only draws about 2 amps to watch a movie in the “media direct mode”, how cool is that?
Well my buddy Rodger called me yesterday and let me know that my Saki recipe was a success even amongst his Japanese friends. They said it wasn’t the best Saki they’ve had, but “firmly drinkable”.
When I get back to Panama I have to look for “wine making supplies” on the internet. I hear one can buy something to put in the wine to stop the fermentation process, and something else one can put in the wine to make the sediment fall to the bottom. I also want a device to measure the alcohol content. If I can figure this one out, I’ll be style’n.
It’s a laid back rainy day. Sara’s reading “The Count of Monte Cristo”, and I’m going to start John Grisham’s “The Broker”. We are going over to Contigo later for movie night. I’m bringing my new laptop (Hal), and some popcorn. Another friend (Dog on Tomery) is coming by, and we’ll all vote on what to watch tonight.
I hope Sara doesn’t get too bored over the next few weeks. My life is much slower then what she’s used too, and I can tell she already misses her man, amore! Well sail for Panama city in a week or so I know she’ll want to do some shopping, and well go out to a movie, and a few of the local bars. For now it’s laid back reading and movie time. This is really a nice and protected anchorage, as soon as we get some sun, we’ll go exploring in the dingy.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Peace, love & family.
