Freezing temperatures and rain have been the norm of late. I did manage to get the main down and off to Mack sails the other day. I’m getting a 3rd reef point and battens. I’m also getting a Mack-pack. It is nearly impossible to get the sail cover on and off with my huge bimini.
I’ve been knocking out inside projects to protect myself from the cold. I had to wire the Engel into my shop to get it off the counter and down low, I also installed a board on my shop bench so that things will not fall off it at sea. We are finding spots to stow everything, it’s not so easy. I’ve also put the finishing touches on my SSB install and all seems to be working well. My propane and jerry jug mounts are finished and I’m just waiting for a package from India and a few parts.
The weather has not been conducive to cross the gulf stream anyway, I’m hoping it will cool off soon, BURRRRRR!
Here is a cool thing, we are just about to have the BlueSphere films available to download to you iphone.
There are still 36 raffle tickets left http://neo.projectbluesphere.com/Store.aspx
Cheers from Stuart.
