Sam, Guin and I are back home. The solar panel instillation on my friends boat came out really well. We also got a chance to see my friend David (The bluesphere web Guru) and meet his family.

The down part of the trip was Guin got her little finger caught in a door and had to go for stitches, OUCH. It was her first real baby booboo and not so fun. She is just learning to ride a real bike and the idea of all the future scraped knees is kind of a bummer. I’m learning how incredibly resilient children are, they are fun to have around.

This is a picture of us with Jamie and Lisa at the Beach Marine Christmas party last night, What a blast! The people who own Beach Marine really do a good job of creating a wonderful environment for boaters. If you ever sail or motor by you should stop in for a spell. The end of month party is worth spending the time here and you’ll meet some really great people. I’ll be sad to leave this place behind.

I came across a funny interview of Jamie, he looks so serious. It was shot just before he rounded cape horn. You can watch it here:

I’m going to try and be out of the slip in the morning. A cold front is coming through so maybe the next morning. We are going to sail up the Ortega river because I owe a friend a days work. We’ll be heading down to Stuart in a few days. We’ll be heading for the Bahamas just after Christmas, CANT WAIT!!!!

Peace everyone.

Sail far and live slowly.
