Okay, some new developments. Sam, Guin and I may only be visiting the Chesapeake by car or train. Sam needs to visit family in New Jersey and I really need to work on Splendid and make a few bucks. I’ve been offered some work here at Beach Marine and after a family discussion Sam and I agree making some extra denaro over the next few months is a really good thing. Splendid will be leaving the states for a long time come November and getting projects done here is not only cost effective, but convenient. What this means for our cruising plans is the addition of the Bahamas in Dec through February, and the virgins and eastern Caribbean until June. We’ll head for Cartagena and Panama before the onset of the following hurricane season.
Sam found a really cool website. Check out http://www.freerice.com/ . You can play some cool art and language learning games and when you win, rice is distributed to the hungry via the UN world food program. Come on guys, play some games and post how much rice you won in the comments below. It’s good karma all the way around you learn, people eat!
Cheers everyone.
Sail far and live slowly.

I really enjoy watching the projects being completed on the video blogs. Now that you’re stuck in Jacksonville hopefully we will see some video blogs throughout the upcoming weeks. Keep up the great website work.
Thanks,
Dave
Dave,
yes I certainly need to get some video up, and will do so shortly. I don’t know why I always feel that I need to do a 10-15 minute piece I should just get some smaller segments up more often.
Cool, I’m seeing 3000 grains of rice, that’s a meal for a few! I’m thinking a mouthful is about 15 grains.
Bubby,
What is my job you ask?? Well I don t really have one. I make a few bucks off of the films I make, and If I need more money I work on boats or I’m a delivery captain. I actually may have a job coming up sailing a boat from Mexico to Australia. Sam and Guin would join me and we would take 6 months or so to do it.
That’s all folks. Back to work!
