Wahoooo, I finally have my solar panels mounted!
I have about double the amount of wattage I had on Namaste.
I’m not so happy with the mount but it works. When I can afford it I want to have tube bent to fit but I have bigger fish to fry if you know what I mean. I still don’t have them wired, but the hard part is done :)
Sam painted the galley and it looks great.
Anyway, I’m off. I just wanted to get some pictures off this morning.
Peace, Love, and Solar power!

good job on the panels , but we want to see more of the canvas girls thanks …fred in Alaska
Looks Great!! It appears you now have to keep the bimini framework up all the time. I guess you can unzip and flip the canvas back if it gets that nice, as you head north.
Smooth sailing, Dean
Looks awesome Alex! By the way, Happy Fathers day! Emily and I think its great what you guys are doing with the little girl. She is very lucky to have the family she does. Hope all is weill with you guys,
Still sending positive vibes

For those of you that were pissed off at my comments on last saturdays blog please refer back to it…..it’s a little long to repeat it here….nice solar panels and bimini Alex. Can’t wait for the other canvas to see what Splendid looks like…nice color….
how come the sailcover’s still blue?!
guess you were just doing the bimini?
anyway. if anyone knows where i can pick up a copy of Suing Bank Of America For Dummies, please let me know.
i should be back in about a week or so. Hopefully less than that. because of this bank mishap, i am almost 1000 poorer! actually, i think it’s up to around1400 now.
I’ve been rotting in canada and haven’t been able to spend anything that i made on the Golden Princess.
Perhaps torture builds character? I think I have enough character on my own, thank you! I’ve had to get to know the small Manitoba town I am from very well in the last weeks, and that is slightly interesting. Not to mention watching the Firefly series about 400 times. I haven’t been to this town in the spring in about 8 years, and forgot what it looked like with the foliage on the trees, and green grass kissing my feet as opposed to slush, ice and snow.
I miss my boat, and Alex, Sam and Guin. I have lame tattoos for Guin, but she has to wear them upside down. You’ll see when i get home!
I SHALL RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Darrin, it will be cool to sail up to the Chesapeake, then out of the country at the end of the year :)
Get your ass back here :)
I don’t know that we will have time to change the sail covers. I’m so worried about getting North to get out of the major path of the storms, and I want to get going as soon as possible. 1 hurricane could take our home, not something I want to leave to chance.
GET BACK BROTHER!!!

If you come up the ICW and go out “The Cape” try to plan to be there on July 11th. The shuttle is going up. It is a sight to see. A night shot will be something you will never forget. It will light up the sky and will look like day time. Keep me informed on your status I would like to meet you before you go north.

“No Hurry”
The panels look good, it looks like you are getting allot of things done. I can’t wait until you get back out there. Best of luck . Dean in NJ
