Tropical weater

I hate, I hate, I hate tropical weather!

Well I didn’t have any damage; the whole thing was just really stressful. When hurricane Charlie rolled through here years back it was a category 4 hurricane. No boats were lost in the Fort Myers Yacht Basin. Splendid was tied with double lines and on all four sides. The non-floating docks are solid concrete and look like they could stand a direct meteor hit. Fay was just a solid tri-Tropical storm; however the wind howled around 60 and rain pummeled in sheets. Needless to say I’m happy it’s over.

I’m hoping to see some sunshine in the next few days so I can get back to stripping & sanding. I’ll probably wait another month before I put the dodger and bimini back up. Tizzz the season to be windy, ARG!!!
