Land and Sea

Go’n back to Cali!

Good, good, good, good vibrations!!!

Well I’m flying back to California today. The flight should be under 10 hours. I hear it’s pretty rainy and cold so I’m not expecting a warm reception (from the weather).

I’m planning on taking a few sleeping pills as soon as I get on the plane to try and get a jump on the jet lag thing. My current time zone is pretty much backwards to California; I’m hoping the transition is easy.

The good thing about sailing long distances is your going so slow you body has time to adapt. When I left the Galapagos I regularly spoke to a buddy on the SSB at 1800 but as I traveled further west it just got too late to talk to him, we had to reschedule. I never had a problem wanting to rest/sleep when the sun went down.

It’s funny; I’ll cross the Pacific today in less then 10 hours. I fought the sea for 8 months to do it in Namaste, that really puts things in perspective doesn’t it?

Cheers everyone.

Peace, Love, and California.
