A voice from the future!!!

Neener, neener, neener I had a New Year before you (well, most of you).

Anyway, I’m off to eat a soba (traditional) Japanese New Years dinner, then to a restaurant/club to watch the count down, obviously not the one in Times Square. I’m going with my friend Taro and Tomo.

My plan is to only have 2 drinks because I really want to work tomorrow and not nurse a hang over.

Okay people it’s time to start thinking of New Years resolutions. Mine is to get a bigger boat, charter, and live more comfortably as I travel around the world. What’s yours?

Today I made Taro drive me an hour and a half to the marina so I could see the sea one last time this year. We met with Taro’s old friend June. I took Taro and June sailing to Catalina Island on my 27 foot Erickson 12 years ago when they visited me in California. June showed me his sail boat and it was refreshing to be aboard. The wind was howling at over 50 knots and it was cold, cold, cold!
