Drifting

Only Gods should live like this.

I’ve always aspired to become the kind of sailor that feels totally comfortable in the sea. The past 30 hours have been windlass, and I’m drifting at 1.5 – 2.0 Kts.

I’m having problems with my monitor again it will only stay on for a few seconds at a time, I will get a new one in Tahiti. I need to find a 12v “car type” monitor.  I’m typing in the dark as the screen only stays lit for 5 seconds at a time; forgive me for type-os. My sat phone is also freak’n again and I’m having another delivered to Tahiti.

I’ve also received word that my favorite camera manufacturer (SONY) will only cover parts and charge me $249.00 for labor. I’m sure they can make the whole camera for less then that. I also need to attend to fixing my radar; I guess I’ll have to drop some coin in Tahiti. It’s a small price to pay for living the life of my dreams.
